Washing method
The washing temperature of silk fabrics should be controlled at around 30 degrees Celsius, use laundry detergent containing softeners, and avoid the use of strong alkaline detergents such as washing powder.1 When washing, soak the fabrics in water for 5 to 10 minutes, then gently rub them, and then rinse them well with water.2 In order to protect the color of the fabrics, you can add a small amount of vinegar into the water after washing, remove them by dipping them in water for 5 minutes, and air dry them on the reverse side in a cool place.2
Drying and Ironing Tips
When drying silk fabrics, avoid direct sunlight, preferably in the shade, and remove when dry to 80% to prevent discoloration of the clothing.2 When ironing, it is recommended to use steam ironing, and the temperature should not be higher than 130 ℃, so as to avoid damaging or embrittlement of silk garments.1
Storage Precautions
When storing silk fabrics, keep the space ventilated and dry, and avoid humid or direct sunlight to prevent the growth of mildew or discoloration1. Also, do not place dry objects, cosmetics and perfumes directly on silk garments to avoid damage2.
Daily care measures
In daily wear and care, care should be taken not to let the surface rough furniture, objects rubbing the surface of silk fabrics, to avoid excessive friction caused by the phenomenon of and silk or phi silk 2. In addition, wearing silk clothing should avoid contact with fire and high temperature environment, in order to prevent burns or damage to the clothing 2.
