Disadvantages of Tencel fabric
1. Tencel fabric has strong sensitivity to temperature, it is easy to become hard in hot and humid environment, and the velvet picking in cold water is not good.
2. Tencel fiber cross-section is uniform, but the original combination between the fibers is weak and inelastic, if subjected to mechanical friction, the outer layer of the fiber is prone to fracture, the formation of the length of about 1-4 microns of velvet, especially in the wet state is more likely to produce, and when it is serious, it will also be entangled with the cotton particles.
3. Tencel fabrics are more expensive than cotton fabrics, but cheaper than silk fabrics.
